Scholarship Info
* The HELP MIC Scholarship Award is an initiative of the HELP Group of Colleges and the Higher Education Bureau, National MIC Youth, to provide Malaysian Indian youths with opportunities to pursue quality education at primier educational institutions in Malaysia.
* The partial and full scholarships are applicable for Pre-University, Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate in the HELP Group of Colleges.
Criteria
* Students who sat for SPM / STPM exams in 2010 and are seeking admission for the 2011 academic year.
* For Pre-University Arts courses, the minimum requirements for a partial scholarship are 5As, including a credit in English and a pass in Bahasa Malaysia.
* For Pre-University Science courses, the minimum requirements for a partial scholarship are 5As, including credits in Maths, one Science subject, English and a pass in Bahasa Malaysia.
* For Diploma in Engineering programs, the minimum requirements for
a partial scholarship are 5As, including credits in Maths, one Science subject, English and a pass in Bahasa Malaysia.
* For Bachelor courses, the minimum requirement for a full scholarship is the HELP Foundation in Science / Art with a CGPA of 6.0 or equivalent.
* For Bachelor courses, the minimum requirement for a partial scholarship is the HELP Foundation in Science / Art with a CGPA of 5.5 or equivalent.
* For postgraduate courses, the minimum requirement for a partial scholarship is a Second Class Upper Honours degree or equivalent.
* Applications which do not fulfill the above minimum requirements may be considered on the recommendation of the school Principal.
