Taylor university is offering Taylor’s University Developing Towns Study Grant for student from selected developing town in Malaysia. This education fund from Taylor University is now available for 2012 intake at Taylor University.

The Developing Towns Study Grant is open to SPM / STPM / UEC students from selected towns across Malaysia.

Successful applicants are entitled for the following fee waiver:
Pre-U : RM3,500 for full duration
Foundation, Diploma, ADP : RM4,000 (1st year only)
Degree : RM5,000 (1st year only)

Students from the secondary schools located in the following list of towns (where they obtained their highest qualifications) are eligible to apply:

Johor: Labis, Yong Peng, Kota Tinggi, Kulai, Pontian, Segamat, Sungai Mati, Tangkak, Kluang
Kedah: Alor Setar, Jitra, Kuala Ketil, Sungai Petani, Kulim, Langkawi
Kelantan: Gua Musang, Kota Bahru, Kuala Krai, Pasir Puteh, Tanah Merah
Kuala Lumpur: Wangsa Maju
Negeri Sembilan: Bahau, Kuala Pilah
Pahang: Triang, Bentong, Cameron Highlands, Jerantut, Karak, Kuala Lipis, Kuantan, Mentakab, Raub, Temerloh
Penang: Bukit Mertajam
Perak: Ayer Tawar, Bidor, Kampar, Lumut, Sitiawan, Taiping, Teluk Intan, Kuala Kangsar, Sungai Siput
Perlis: Kangar
Sabah: Lahad Datu, Papar, Tawau, Sandakan
Sarawak: Limbang, Sarikei
Selangor: Banting, Rawang, Sekinchan
Terengganu: Dungun, Kemaman, Kuala Terengganu
