Only rumors
“News of the (delay) is not true. UPSR fixed as per schedule, ie 11, 12 and 13 September, “he said via short message service (SMS) to BH.
Rumors of delays UPSR this year believed to be caused from a variety of allegations, among others, to make way for General Election-13 (GE-13) and the question paper leak in a particular state.
Meanwhile, the President of the Confederate Headmasters Council of Malaysia (GMGBM), Ruslan Madon, said the question papers for the UPSR this year already stored in vaults in each state.
Preparations went smoothly
Hence, he said, any delay will cause UPSR ‘clash’ use of the vault for storing paper Lower Secondary Assessment (PMR), which is scheduled to begin on 9 October.
He said that all final preparations are being made, including the school plans to hold a prayer intention and Yasin reading in the near future.
“Therefore, parents and candidates are advised to be wary of the rumors, instead focusing on the mental and emotional preparation for their exams soon,” he said.
