Every year, Brunei government will offer Brunie scholarship for foreign students. This year, Brunei government scholarship for foreign students is once again offered to qualified and interested foreign students to apply.

Under this scholarship scheme, the Government of Brunei Darussalam is offering annual scholarships under a special scholarship award scheme for 2013/2014 academic session.

This scholarship grants allows students to study at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB) two of the best universities in Brunei. Scholarship Info

With his Majesty the Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s consent, the Government of Brunei Darussalam is offering annual scholarships under a special scholarship award scheme for 2013/2014 academic session. This scholarship grants allows students to study at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB).

Criteria

1. Must be citizens of ASEAN country.
2. Must be age 18 to 25 for undergraduate programmes
3. For postgraduate programmes, applicant should not exceed 35 years old
4. Award is not eligible to Brunei permanent residents and foreigners residing in Brunei Darussalam for more than three months

Preferred Discipline

a. Undergraduate programme
b. Graduate programme

Amount

1. Monthly personal allowance of BN500.00
2. Annual book allowance of BND600.00
3. Monthly food allowance of BND150.00
4. Baggage allowance maximum of BND250.00 to ASEAN region and BND500.00 for non-ASEAN region upon completion of the programme only.

Interested and qualified foreign student may submit their Brunei scholarship application as explained hereinafter. The application form and supporting documents must be A4 size and printed on one side and then must be duly completed and endorsed by the relevant authorities of the applicants’ country of origin. E.g. Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the relevant agency responsible for the Brunei Darussalam Scholarship offers.

Three copies of the application form and 3 copies of the supporting documents must be submitted to Technical Assistant Division of the Brunei Mission in your country of origin or the closest Brunei Darussalam Mission to the country of origin.
