Pelajar yang layak dan mendapat tawaran akan dikehendaki untuk memberi maklumbalas penerimaan tawaran dengan kadar yang segera. Oleh itu jika anda mendapati anda lulus dan mendapat tawaran bolehlah cetak tawaran tersebut untuk dibawa semase sesi pendaftaran dan lapor diri di universiti di mana anda ditawarkan untuk belajar.

Pelajar juga boleh membuat semakan selepas tarikh semakan keputusan UPU online diumumkan melalui link ini http://upu.mohe.gov.my, http://www.jpt.utm.my atau menggunakan sistem applikasi short-messaging service (SMS) dengan menaip UPU RESULT (identification card number) hantar ke 15888.
Selepas tarikh semakan keputusan UPU online diumumkan dan anda telah membuat semakan online, jika anda tidak mendapat tawaran dari mana-mana universiti awam, anda boleh anggap bahawa permohonan anda telah gagal.
Sistem e-Rayuan UPU
E-appeal then be offered to those candidates who did not received any offer. UPU follows their One-Offer Policy, whereby those who received an offer and not eligible to make appeals for reconsideration.
Successful candidates can print their offer letters starting Saturday through the websites of the respective universities and confirm their acceptance within seven working days, before or on May 14.
According to the statement, the ministry has agreed to implement an open offer policy, whereby many excellent SPM 2010 candidates will receive more than one offer.
“Successful applicants are advised to choose their preferred programme wisely and register on the day and time stated,” it said.
The ministry urged unsuccessful applicants to consider other programmes such as Form Six, Technical Education and Vocational Training Institutions (TEVT), Skills Training Institutes (ILKA), polytechnics, community colleges and others.
The statement added that appeals can be made through the e-Rayuan application within 10 working days the official application results were announced through http://upu.mohe.gov.my.
The closing date for appeals is May 16, whereby results will be announced the second week of June and those who do not receive any offer four weeks after registration should consider their appeal unsuccessful.–Bernama.

IMPORTANT! UPU Practices One Offer Policy
What happen if you reject the offer from UPU? This is a very important question. This is something you must read carefully and to think about. Do you know that UPU practices one offer policy? The answer is YES! UPU practices one offer policy. According to the Pengarah UPU, En. Jamalulail Abu Bakar “If applicants reject the offer from one university they will NOT get any offer from other university as we have one offer policy. They will not be entertained for appeal. Appeal process is ONLY applicable for those who are not offered placement in IPTA”
The statement from the Pengarah UPU, if you get the offer from UPU and you reject it then you will not be give a second chances. Remember about this UPU One Offer Policy
Second Chance for Students who failed to secure places at public universities at private institutions
The Malaysian Education Ministry is currently looking for a solution to help students who were left with no offer through a working solution with private education institutes and the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN).
It is expected that a list of private college and universities (IPTS) will have places available to accomodate the students is in progress. The students will then recieved assistances from PTPTN and their loans are convertible to scholarship if the student obtain 1st class honours.
