Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM) is a statutory body that actively promotes and contributes to public confidence in the stability of the Malaysian financial system. It also protects depositors against the loss of their deposits as well as takaful and insurans benefits in the unlikely event of a member institution failure.
What is PIDM’s Undergraduate Scholarship Programme?
PIDM’s four-year Undergraduate Scholarship Programme is a scholarship award for aspiring students in need of financial aid to pursue their studies locally in specific fields of study in line with PIDM business needs.
What are the requirements?
a. You must be a Malaysian citizen under 25 years of age (as of 1 January 2015) and be a full time student
b. You must have good academic results in SPM/STPM or equivalent (with credits in Bahasa Melayu and English)
c. You have gained admission into any of the courses related to the field of studies listed here, which has been approved and accredited by Lembaga Akreditasi Negara (LAN), in a college or university in Malaysia as approved by PIDM.
d. Not be in a position financially to take the course without financial aid and award.
e. Not be in receipt of any other scholarship, financial aid or award from any institutions or any other organizations or foundation.
f. Applications will only be considered if they meet the eligibility criteris, the specific field of study and the list of colleges and universities as approved by PIDM.

How do I apply?
a. Begin your journey towards realizing your true potential by logging on to www.pidm.gov.my and downloading the PIDM Scholarship 2013 Application Form
b. You may submit your application prior to receiving your acceptance by one of the PIDM approved list of colleges and universities. However, any offer of scholarship will be conditions and upon securing admission into one of the eligible programmes at one of the approved colleges or universities.
Please send your completed application form by hand or post with a recent passport-sized photograph, certified photocopies of your academic transcript and /or certificates and all relevant documents to reach us no later than 26 April 2013 to:
