Pagoh to become Malaysia’s University City
The Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister’s constituency Pagoh is geared toward Malaysia’s first university city.
The plan is to have 5 universities inside the area. So far University Tun Hussein Onn, University Teknologi Mara, University Putra Malaysia and Bandung Institute of Technology have agreed to setup their campus there.
The International Islamic University had agreed last year to setup a campus to offer courses as Engineering, Modern Languages & Agriculture at Pagoh in 2012.
The university city is expected to attract about 300,000 residents and 30,000 students when fully completed. The development for this Malaysia university city is expected to takes around 20 years)
