Detailed description   

The University of Canterbury’s College of Engineering is offering multiple scholarships for Malaysian students who plan to undertake a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours degree at the university.

These scholarships were established by UC’s College of Engineering to recognise the ongoing relationship between the College and Malaysia, and to support Malaysian students studying Engineering at the University of Canterbury, In Christchurch, New Zealand.

These scholarships are only for students applying for admission to the University of Canterbury through the Selset New Zealand agency in Malaysia.

Scholarships will be available annually to full-fee paying international applicants intending to enrol full-time in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)(BE(Hons)) degree programme.

Engineering specialisations include Chemical and Process, Civil, Computer, Electrical and Electronic, Forest, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Natural Resources and Software Engineering.

2 x $20,000 NZD cash scholarships per annum for up to four years ( Engineering Intermediate Year)
High Achievers Awards
5 x $10,000 NZD cash scholarships per annum for up four years (Engineering Intermediate Year)
5 x $ 10,000 NZD cash scholarships per annum for up to three years (Direct Entry into First Professional Year)
